A cultureless drunk in Asian skin.

The acridic smell of smokey herbs thick on my tongue,
Heavy thoughts and heavy mind
Coddled by tears and drinks.

Suffocating winds and obscuring clouds,
Grey, the shade of ambiguity
Of absolute clarity.

Sips of bittersweet memories
Lulling my headache into thoughts of forever
As Chinese women sing of romance and happiness.
