Can’t breathe

I can’t breathe when I’m around you.

Talking to you,
face to face
or texting you,
skyping or
even thinking about you.

I can’t breathe,
oxygen eludes me,
makes me light-headed and dizzy,
all kinds of nervous and stomach dropping.

Tensed up,
clenched tight,
pent up and near bursting.

I can’t breathe;

but I can’t tell if it’s painful, unreciprocated love

or a panic attack.
